How to create fried yam

I feel I should make a quick side note: these are not sweet potatoes these are actually tubers of yam.
All you need to do is peel-wash-cut-fry and voila its ready to eat.

cut yam into smaller pieces |
then peel |

I soften yams by presoaking it for extra 15 mins |
add the yam only when the oil is hot. Turn yam over after 15 mins. Then take the pieces out when slightly brown |
